Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially
  • Strong follow-up and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Generate and send customer invoices accurately and on time
  • Monitor accounts to identify outstanding balances
  • Follow up on past-due accounts via phone, email, and written communication
  • Apply payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Investigate and resolve billing issues or disputes
  • Maintain accurate records of all AR transactions
  • Prepare aging reports and communicate status to management
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve account issues
  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to receivables
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
