About The Position

Rytech, a nationally recognized leader in the restoration industry and part of Fortify Companies, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This role is crucial for managing the financial aspects of franchise operations, ensuring franchise owners are paid accurately and on time. The specialist will handle a portfolio of franchise accounts, monitor outstanding balances, and collaborate with franchise owners, third-party administrators, and insurance carriers to resolve billing issues and collect payments. The position involves a high volume of outbound calls, developing aging reports, and conducting regular conference calls with franchise owners. This is a hybrid role based in Kennesaw, GA, requiring two weeks of on-site training followed by ongoing remote work. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a relationship builder, comfortable with high call volumes, calm under pressure, and motivated by results.

Requirements

  • Required proficiency in Microsoft Office products with a focus on Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • The ability to adapt to new systems is a must
  • The ability to work individually and in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work proactively with department leaders and multiple levels of management
  • Ability to work with difficult situations related to collections

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in accounts receivable activities is desired
  • Experience working in NetSuite is not mandatory
  • Experience working in the restoration industry is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Monitor account details for non payments and open or aged receivables
  • Make a minimum of 30 phone calls a day to check on outstanding payments
  • Work with external customers to satisfy billing inquiries
  • Develop aging reports for the franchisees you are assigned to oversee
  • Hold conference calls with franchise owners to analyze their open receivables and plan how best to obtain outstanding funds
  • Adhere to department policies and procedures
  • Anticipate customer needs, internal and external, and foster excellent customer service
  • Assist other departments as needed during Cat times
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the team and business
