About The Position

Mozaic (a chapter of NYSARC) is looking for a full-time Accounts Receivable (A/R) Billing Specialist in Waterloo, NY. The Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the financial health of our organization by managing complex healthcare billing and grant vouchering processes across a variety of program services. In this position, you'll use your expertise and sound judgment to prepare and submit Medicaid and third-party insurance claims with accuracy and efficiency. You'll also serve as a trusted resource within the billing team-providing guidance on procedures, regulations, and system processes while helping maintain precise accounts receivable records. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with Senior Accountants, contributing to monthly revenue reporting and ensuring the integrity of our financial operations. Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 5 years of billing experience
• Strong skills in analyzing revenue and receivable accounts
• Accurate entry of accounting data
• High level of interpersonal communication
• Independent decision-making abilities
• Leadership abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant software
• Well-versed in Medicaid, Medicare, and third-party insurance claim billing procedures

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with accounting practices and non-profit financial operations
• Familiarity with specialized software such as Medisked and Millin Pro

Responsibilities

• Manage complex healthcare billing and grant vouchering processes across a variety of program services.
