The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for managing accounts receivable aging and collections, along with customer reconciliations and service issues. They will work with complex customer invoicing. This position requires working in the Corporate Headquarters office, located in Overland Park, KS. This is not a remote or hybrid role.

Requirements

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or GED and 5+ years of accounts receivable, customer invoicing, and customer service experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
Effective communication skills - both oral and written

Responsibilities

Manage customer relationships to ensure timely receivables
Process customer statements and follow up on customers with aged receivable issues
Utilize software to research external & internal customer issues and offer prompt solutions
Cash applications, process ACH, and credit card payments
Alert management to irregularities, customer trends, and areas of concern
Maintain Pricing file, update customer contract changes
Understand customer pricing agreements and apply those to invoicing and collections
High-level billing and review of complex customer invoices
Design and run customized reports that are relevant to financial operations
Month-end general ledger reconciliations
Other duties as assigned
