About The Position

Action Property Management seeks an Accounts Receivable Associate – Collections for its corporate office in Irvine, CA. This role involves processing accounts receivable and collections activities for multiple associations, including posting late charges, reviewing accounts, and processing pre-liens, liens, lien releases, and attorney packs. The position also requires performing preparation and detailed review of delinquency reports and collection activities. The compensation is $25 to $28 per hour, depending on experience. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Initially, the position will be 100% in-office for the first 90 days, after which it will transition to a hybrid schedule.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 2+ years of accounting, accounts receivable, or cash posting experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
  • Ability to research and resolve discrepancies independently
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), Adobe Acrobat, and accounting systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree in accounting or related field strongly preferred, or 5+ years of related experience.
  • Experience with CINC is a plus
  • Strong Excel proficiency preferred
  • Power BI experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly delinquency reports
  • Perform detailed account reviews
  • Forward accounts to the attorney, monitor accounts while at the attorney, provide requested information to the attorney
  • Request monthly status reports from attorneys
  • Prepare and review pre lien, liens and lien releases
  • Make adjustments to owners accounts
  • Respond to homeowner correspondence and calls
  • Ability to handle difficult owners calmly and efficiently
  • Interact with managers
