Accounts Receivable Analyst
About The Position
Albany ENT & Allergy Services is looking for an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their billing department. This role is responsible for accurate data entry, insurance benefit verification, and providing exceptional customer service. The position requires an understanding of insurance coding and compliance, accounting and bookkeeping processes, reimbursement, posting, statements, and check requests. The Accounts Receivable Analyst will also post information in QuickBooks and reconcile accounts to ensure their accuracy. The ideal candidate will be customer service oriented, an excellent communicator, and possess a collaborative mindset.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Customer service skills for interacting with patients regarding medical claims and payments
- Problem-solving skills to research and resolve discrepancies
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Proficient computer skills including ability to master the clinic’s software systems
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 Coding
