Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- 0-2 years accounting experience preferred
- Invests in developing and applying financial knowledge and principles to deliver accurate, high-quality outcomes.
- Utilizes analytical skills to identify opportunities or root causes, evaluate information, and execute effective solutions.
- Actively contributes to established workflows, processes, and deliverables, using systems and resources to provide a world-class client experience while meeting compliance requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Accounting degree preferred
- insurance agency experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process basic cash receipts using prescribed workflows and systems with assistance from leader
- Perform basic day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording cash receipts data
- Research and resolve simple issues/discrepancies associated with cash receipts in a timely manner and appropriately communicate with internal and/or external parties when necessary
- Assist with premium financing for clients with external premium finance companies
- Assist with daily reconciliation of cash receipts and deposits
