About The Position
Stinger Bridge & Iron, an AISC certified structural steel fabricator and PCI certified precast concrete girder fabricator and erection contractor. Stinger focuses primarily on the Southwestern Bridge and Highway market, specializing in bridge projects. Stinger fabricates in its Coolidge, Arizona facility located south of the Phoenix/Chandler/Gilbert area and erects work in Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas and Colorado. For additional information about our company visit our website at www.stingerbridgeandiron.com POSITION SCOPE The Accounts Payable Support individual will assist Accounts Payable Manager in daily processing of accounts payable invoices. This individual will help with preparing reports, process checks and assist in monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or in business-related field
- Background in Microsoft Office software
- Excellent communication, analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Prepare invoices for payment
- Maintain Vendor Master File
- Credit card control and payments
- A/P monthly processing
- Preparing checks for payment
- Assist with the preparation of monthly/quarterly reports and annual audits
- Perform other duties as assigned
