About The Position

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Accounting Supervisor for the beautiful new Barton Creek resort & Spa! Ranked among the best resorts in Texas: Top 5 Resorts in the Southwest Conde Nast Traveler and Top 5 Resorts in Texas Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards 2022. The Accounting Supervisor will assist the department managers in overseeing the department associates while ensuring various accounting tasks are completed in a timely manner in accordance with Omni Hotels Standards and ensure accounts payable controls are in compliance with all Omni Hotels internal controls and SOPs.

Requirements

• Must have working knowledge of finance systems to include Oracle, OPera, Kronos Ultipro, Birchstreet.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Prior supervisory experience in hotel setting.
• 5 years Accounting experience & / or equivalent education required.
• Previous Accounting experience experience in a labor setting.
• Must be flexible and able to work weekends when needed.
• Able to provide task force assistance as needed at Omni locations.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in supervising the department Associates and their work / productivity.
• Assists with accounts payable control house/manager’s fund of this property including all banks issued out of this fund for house/associate banks.
• Assists with reinforcement of AP purchase orders, invoices, inventories, and reporting.
• Assist in monitoring compliance with all disciplines affecting Finance compliance & Audit.
• Assist in ensuring a seamles AP process and monitor and approve Accounts Payable batches.
• Assist Director of Finance and Controller with requested tasks.
