About The Position
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing financial transactions for the organization.
Requirements
- High school graduate
- At least two previous accounts payable experience.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Organizing, validating, and processing invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors.
- Entering invoice data for payment, resolving coding and approval issues, and processing check runs.
- Investigating discrepancies through communication with department managers, materials management, and vendors.
- Possessing the ability to solve problems, prioritize and multi-task in a deadline-driven environment is a must.
- Comfortable learning new systems and operating within multiple systems.
