About The Position

We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a part-time Accounts Payable Specialist position located in Provo, Utah. The individual we are looking for is someone who enjoys working in a team environment and excels working at an individual level. The hours for this position will be 15-20 hours per week with a flexible schedule during business hours, Monday through Friday. Requirements

1–3 years of accounts payable or equivalent accounting experience
Proficiency with ERP/AP systems such as Workday, NetSuite, or SAP, and strong Excel skills, including vlookups and pivot tables
Strong detail orientation, organizational skills, and accuracy when managing high invoice volume
Strong communication abilities and a vendor-service mindset.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Understanding of three-way match, accruals, 1099 processing, and AP compliance requirements

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

Responsibilities

Receive, validate, and route invoices for approval, and match invoices to purchase orders and contracts
Prepare and execute ACH, check, and wire payment runs, and schedule payments to support cash-flow goals
Reconcile vendor statements and research and resolve discrepancies and credits
Maintain documentation and adhere to GAAP controls, and support internal and external audits
Complete month-end tasks, including accruals, AP aging review, and reporting
Serve as the primary contact for vendor payment status and issue resolution, and maintain accurate vendor master data
Identify automation opportunities and workflow improvements, and assist with ERP or process changes
Perform other related duties as assigned
