About The Position
Meissner is looking for a self-motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic Accounts Payable Team! This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo, CA. Meissner is focused on the development of the whole individual, and we have programs and tools in place to help us stay at our best mentally and physically. In alignment with our commitment to support the growth and development of the whole individual, Meissner has inaugurated a Learning and Development department to solely focus on cultivating our team. Requirements
- AA or BA Degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years working experience in a similar position
- Accounts Payable Clerk, Bookkeeping, etc.
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Accuracy and attention to detail are critical
- Knowledge of ERP systems usage and related data flow
Nice To Haves
- Microsoft D365 a huge plus
Responsibilities
- Review, enter, post AP invoices to appropriate GL account into accounting software
- Assist in weekly vendor payment schedules
- Assist in reviewing purchase requisitions
- Assist in month-end close and related duties
- Support Financial Audit requests
