About The Position
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be a key member of our accounting team, primarily focused on high-volume accounts payable processing. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their responsibilities, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and contributing to continuous process improvement. Teamwork is essential, as you’ll collaborate closely with other Accounting Team members and several other departments to maintain strong financial controls across multiple entities.
Requirements
- Hands on AP experience or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 1+ years of hands on AP/AR or general accounting experience.
- Proficient with excel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and analytical abilities
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work well in a collaborative environment
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the high-volume accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payment
- Perform cash and bank reconciliations for assigned entities
- Reconcile credit card statements and manage related documentation
- Process inter-company billings as needed
- Support general ledger reconciliation and analysis for assigned entities
- Assist with other accounting tasks and special projects as assigned by the Accounting Manager
