ARCO, a Family of Construction Companies, is seeking an accounting professional for a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist position in their Atlanta office. Requirements

High School Diploma required
0-2 years of accounting experience
Must possess effective communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion
Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Ability to work with and build relationships with a wide variety of people
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Viewpoint, Keystyle, and AVID is a plus

Responsibilities

Receiving, verifying, and processing overhead invoices from vendors and suppliers throughout the month
Reconciling accounts payable records with the general ledger to ensure accuracy while identifying and resolving any discrepancies
Work with vendors and industry partners to resolve billing discrepancies, assist with compliance, and provide payment status inquiries
Reviewing and processing employee expense reports, ensuring they comply with company policies and are properly documented.
Work on a variety of miscellaneous issues delegated by Accounting team
Develop and maintain positive relations with the Accounting team and Project Managers
Processing weekly payment runs
