About The Position

Job Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Promote the mission of Javara with a primary guiding principle of research participant safety, research participant well-being, and doing so with integrity and excellence to all those Javara serves. Assist in accounting operations, with a focus on the accounts payable function. Accurately code bills and credit card transactions, resolve AP issues, review expense reports, and assist AP department as needed. Use appropriate source documents to verify, record, and process transactions. Maintain accurate and complete records, including sub-ledger details, invoices, and receipts. Provide efficient, reliable support to other accounting department members, other departments, and external parties. Qualifications: Previous experience in an AP role preferred. Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills. Exceptional time management, planning and organizational skills. Ab ility to work autonomously or as part of a team. Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills. Comfort and ability in the use of standard office equipment such as computers, laptops, tablets, phones, photocopiers, and printers. Preferred High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (preferred).
