About The Position

Responsible for payment to vendors via check, credit card, or ACH. Provide direct support to vendors, as well as delivering field and departmental assistance. This role involves significant invoice entry, vendor inquiry research, and collaboration with buyers to resolve discrepancies. The Accounts Payable Representative will also manage incoming mail and provide necessary assistance to vendors and employees.

Requirements

• Detailed-oriented
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work in team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills (10-key, Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.)
• Knowledge of SAP A/P software
• Associate's degree (A. A) or equivalent experience
• One or more years related experience and/or training

Responsibilities

• Payment to vendors via check, credit card, or ACH.
• Provide direct support to vendors.
• Deliver field and departmental assistance.
• P.O. and Non-P.O. invoice entry (averaging 500-600/week).
• Aide with annual 1099 filing process.
• Research PO vendor inquiries and vendor statements regarding invoice/credit payment status.
• Manage and distribute incoming mail to support efficient and accurate AP processing.
• Work with buyers to resolve problems amongst purchase orders and invoices.
• Provide vendor and employee assistance when necessary.
• Perform duties as needed by supervisor.
