Requirements

  • Experience in a finance or accounts role (accounts payable, finance assistant, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Confident using Excel and finance systems
  • Well organised, able to manage priorities, and meet deadlines
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to learn and develop

Nice To Haves

  • Working towards an AAT or similar qualification would be a plus.
  • Legal experience is helpful, but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and improving the accounts payable process, ensuring invoices and payments are processed accurately and efficiently
  • Liaising with colleagues across the business to resolve queries and support smooth financial operations
  • Preparing supplier payments in line with agreed terms
  • Performing supplier reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
  • Processing employee expenses and company credit card transactions
  • Supporting month-end activities, reporting, and wider finance tasks
  • Getting involved in ad hoc projects and process improvements as you develop
