Accounts Payable Assistant
About The Position
Upper Lakes Foods is the largest independent, wholesale food distributor in Minnesota. The company has three facilities located in Cloquet, MN, Northfield, MN and Janesville, WI. We distribute food throughout the Upper Midwest. Upper Lakes Foods specializes in serving foodservice operators such as independent restaurants, assisted living facilities, schools, and national and regional foodservice chain accounts with a strong focus on customer service. Requirements
- Strong organization, accuracy, and comfort juggling priorities in a fast-paced office
- Professional communication and relationship-building skills
Responsibilities
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents before routing to the Accounts Payable Team
- Triage the Accounts Payable inbox and direct emails to the right teammate
- Gather required expense approvals and distribute items to the team
- Scan invoices into the AP system and maintain AP files
- Use solid phone/customer service skills when speaking with brokers and vendors
- Complete other assignments as directed; maintain regular attendance and work safely
