About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team. This position is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, comfortable working with numbers, and takes pride in keeping financial records accurate and up to date. The Accounts Payable Clerk will help manage daily AP activities, including invoices, payments, reconciliations, and financial documentation while supporting the overall accounting team.

Requirements

• Previous Accounts Payable or accounting experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working with numbers and financial information.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• Dealership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices accurately and ensure payments are made on time.
• Reconcile statements and research discrepancies as needed.
• Handle bills and scheduled payments.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing financial transactions.
• Review, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records.
• Review expense reports and credit card transactions.
• Assist with check and ACH payment processing.
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, payments, and account questions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Enter and update financial information in accounting systems.
• Assist with general accounting and administrative duties as needed.
