About The Position

Reporting to the General Accounting Manager, the Accounts Payable Clerk will compile, and process and maintain accounts payable records along with other duties as assigned.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, production schedules, purchase orders, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of specifications and information furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in accounting or prior accounts payable experience (2-3 years)
• Experience in SAP accounting system preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

• Entry of Vendor Invoices and Credit Memos
• Entry of Employee Expense Reports and Credit Cards
• Process Check and Wire Payments to Vendors and Employees
• Reconcile and Post Petty Cash
• Report and Post Sales Tax Payable
• Maintain Files for Capital Projects by Gathering and Entering Invoices in CIP Program
• Accomplish Accounting and Organization Mission by Completing Assignments as Needed
• Protect Organizations Value by Keeping Information Confidential
• Other duties as assigned
