About The Position

NHC HealthCare Augusta is seeking an Accounts Payable Bookkeeper to join their team. This full-time position involves vouchering invoices, preparing weekly check runs, communicating with vendors, preparing month-end books for submission to the home office, and other related accounts payable tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance verification, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll, possess good communication skills with attention to detail, and be able to work effectively with patients and families. The role requires someone who is well-organized, persistent, and a team player.

Responsibilities

  • Vouchering invoices
  • Preparing weekly check run
  • Communicating with vendors and partners with regards to purchases
  • Preparing month end books for submission to home office
  • Other various tasks related to accounts payable
