About The Position

Pavilion Construction is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented accounting professional to join our finance team. This position plays a critical role in supporting the financial operations of multiple construction entities by ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time while maintaining the integrity of our accounting records. Requirements

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• High level of integrity and accountability
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Nice To Haves

• Construction industry experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Viewpoint Vista is a significant plus
• Construction accounting experience is helpful, but we are equally interested in candidates with the right mindset, strong fundamentals, and the ability to grow into the role.

Responsibilities

• Processing high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Matching invoices to purchase orders, subcontracts, and supporting documentation
• Managing weekly check runs and electronic payments
• Reconciling corporate credit card transactions and employee expense reports
• Maintaining vendor records, including W-9s and tax documentation
• Responding professionally to vendor inquiries and resolving discrepancies
• Assisting with month-end close activities, including AP reconciliations
• Working closely with Project Managers, Project Accountants, and field personnel to resolve invoice issues
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and strengthen internal controls
• Supporting additional accounting projects as assigned
