About The Position
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Technician on a full-time temporary basis (15 month term) on our Corporate Accounting team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. If you are a detail-oriented and organized individual with experience in freight and invoicing, we encourage you to apply!
Requirements
- Have a high school diploma and two post-secondary courses in financial accounting from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Have a minimum of 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience related to the applicable function.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in freight and invoicing.
Responsibilities
- Code and process freight payments and related charges for merchandise freight vendors and lease operators.
- Process retail invoicing for courier charges.
- Process monthly recovery journal entries.
- Other duties as required.
