Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of accounting or finance experience
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles
  • Experience working within accounting or ERP software systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, collaborative, and customer-service-oriented mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in healthcare or a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
  • Experience supporting audits and regulatory reporting
  • Familiarity with budgeting and financial analysis
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice matching, payment processing, and vendor reconciliations
  • Support accounts receivable activities and maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist with payroll processing and payroll-related reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with GAAP
  • Support banking, treasury, and cash management activities
  • Assist with financial reporting, account analysis, and month-end activities
  • Coordinate documentation for audits and regulatory reporting
  • Monitor financial task deadlines and assist leadership with timely completion of recurring accounting activities
  • Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation
  • Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, lenders, and external partners
  • Support budget preparation and other finance-related projects
  • Maintain strict confidentiality while ensuring compliance with financial policies and HIPAA requirements
