About The Position

REJIS is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join their Finance team. This leadership role will oversee daily accounting operations, mentor accounting staff, and work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to ensure the financial integrity of an organization that provides critical technology services to law enforcement, public safety, and government agencies throughout the region. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Five or more years of progressive accounting experience
• At least two years of supervisory or senior accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite or another cloud-based ERP system
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities
• A commitment to accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

• GASB experience
• CPA certification or progress toward certification
• Experience in governmental or nonprofit accounting

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing a team of accounting professionals and interns
• Managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions for accuracy
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP, GASB, and internal control standards
• Overseeing Oracle NetSuite accounting processes and workflow approvals
• Assisting with financial reporting, annual audits, and budget analysis
• Partnering with the CFO to improve accounting processes and strengthen internal controls
• Supporting grant accounting, financial compliance, and organizational initiatives
• Working across departments to provide financial guidance and help drive operational excellence
