About The Position

Douglas County is seeking an Accounting/Finance Supervisor to perform complex financial duties and supervise professional staff. This role involves training assigned personnel, collaborating on the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), working with auditors, supporting new governmental accounting standards, establishing and maintaining Finance Department policies and procedures, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and Chart of Accounts. The position also includes completing assigned work and special projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or related field
Four (4) years of professional level experience
At least one (1) year of supervisory experience
Successful completion of a drug screen, reference checks, and a criminal background check including fingerprinting through a national database
