Accounting Supervisor
About The Position
TCH is seeking a detail-oriented and strategically minded Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily financial operations, manage accounting staff, and ensure high standards of financial accuracy and regulatory compliance. The role requires experience processing full-cycle payroll, maintaining the general ledger under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and preparing complex financial statements. The Accounting Supervisor will mentor, guide, and evaluate internal accounting staff. TCH has served individuals with disabilities and their families in Arizona since 1967. Requirements
- One year of full-cycle payroll processing experience.
- Strong technical background in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- One year of supervisory experience.
- Three years of related professional accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance, and/or Business.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily financial operations.
- Manage accounting staff and ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Process employee compensation and tax reporting through full-cycle payroll.
- Oversee general ledger maintenance in accordance with GAAP.
- Lead preparation of complex financial statements.
- Mentor, guide, and evaluate internal accounting staff.
