About The Position

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for supervising accounting services, budgets, reports, student pay, and the clothing and welfare fund in compliance with government and management directives. The role plans, coordinates, and manages the department’s administrative and financial activities; supports staff development and performance management; reviews areas for contractual compliance and effective service delivery; assists with budgeting and expenditure control; and oversees financial accounting systems and contract-fund allocations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
Two years of related experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Computer proficiency.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and manage the administrative and financial activities of the department.
Provide staff training, evaluate staff performance, and implement approved departmental and personnel changes in coordination with the center director and human resources manager.
Regularly review and audit assigned areas for contractual compliance and effectiveness of services delivered to students, and prepare related reports.
Assist in developing the departmental budget, monitor and control expenditures, and review and recommend changes to budget authorizations.
Supervise student pay and conduct periodic student benefit fund audits.
Supervise financial accounting systems and allocation of contract-fund expenditures.
Monitor center performance by interpreting accounting data and developing management information reports.
