About The Position

Our client is seeking a motivated, hands-on accounting professional who is ready to take the next step in their career. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

ERP experience preferred.
Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus, but not required.
Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accounting accuracy.
Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other financial records.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies.
Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Mentor, train, and eventually supervise two Accounting Clerks.
Take ownership of special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Challenge existing processes and recommend better ways of doing business.
