About The Position

The PHOENIX Internship Program is a paid, 10-week program for rising junior and senior undergraduates and graduate students, offering hands-on experience, cross-functional collaboration, and opportunities to learn from experienced professionals at a multi-brand retail company. PHOENIX Retail, LLC operates the Express and Bonobos brands worldwide. The Summer 2027 program runs from June 2 to August 5 and is based at the company’s Columbus, Ohio headquarters. Interns can participate in professional development workshops, networking sessions with leaders, mentorship opportunities, a cross-functional group project, group outings, social events, and volunteer opportunities. The internship requires full-time work for the full program, following a four-days-in-office approach and relocating to the office location; housing accommodations are not provided. Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States, as PHOENIX does not sponsor work visas for this position.

Requirements

Available to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
Able to follow the four-days-in-office approach.
Able to relocate to the office location; housing accommodations are not provided.
Able to commit to the entire 10-week program, June 2 to August 5.
Currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; PHOENIX does not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

Responsibilities

Work alongside accounting professionals and cross-functional partners.
Analyze and reconcile store-level cash, credit card, and gift card activity.
Assist with invoice processing and payment creation, manual expense report auditing, and real estate check reconciliation.
Assist with balance sheet account reconciliations, monthly processes, and journal entry audits.
Support physical inventory reconciliation and analysis, and track vendor fabric commitments.
