About The Position

Erickson Senior Living is hiring an intern for its Summer 2027 Summer Intern Program. The internship offers hands-on accounting experience working primarily with accounting teams and learning from finance professionals. The intern will gain practical exposure to accounting processes, contribute to projects, develop technical and professional skills, and learn about the day-to-day operations of a home office accounting department. Shorter rotations with other Finance areas will provide a broader understanding of how accounting works alongside other finance functions. The position is fully in-office.

Requirements

• Be a current student who has completed a minimum of two years of college, with coursework in accounting and/or finance.
• Have a basic understanding of accounting principles, guidance, and regulations.
• Clearly communicate thoughts and solutions verbally and in writing.
• Have intermediate computer and technology skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reporting deliverables as requested by Management.
• Participate in the monthly closing process by preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support and participate in special projects and initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
