About The Position

Erickson Senior Living is hiring an Accounting Intern for its Summer 2027 Intern Program. The intern will gain hands-on accounting experience by working primarily with accounting teams and contributing to meaningful projects. The role includes exposure to key accounting processes and responsibilities in a home office accounting department, as well as shorter rotations with other Finance areas to develop a broader understanding of how accounting works alongside other finance functions. This is a fully in-office position.

Requirements

• Be a current student with at least two years of college completed, including coursework in accounting and/or finance.
• Have a basic understanding of accounting principles, guidance, and regulations.
• Clearly communicate thoughts and solutions verbally and in writing.
• Have intermediate computer and technology skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reporting deliverables as requested by Management.
• Participate in the monthly closing process by preparing journal entries.
• Participate in the monthly closing process by preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support and participate in special projects and initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
