The Accounting Specialist performs daily tasks related to maintaining, identifying, verifying, and recording the organization's transactions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The Account Specialist is responsible for processing and maintaining accounts payable, vendor accounts maintenance and analysis, purchase order system processes, and account analysis. In addition, this position assists with accounting processes, monthly closing procedures, and ad hoc analysis and reporting needs.
