About The Position

A growing company is seeking an Accounting & Finance Support Specialist to join their team. This role plays a critical part in supporting financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and related administrative functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain high standards in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections
• Research and resolve discrepancies related to financial transactions
• Prepare and send customer statements, follow up on outstanding invoices, and coordinate with internal teams as needed
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reconciliations
• Maintain vendor and customer records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Support onboarding of new customers and vendors with accurate documentation
• Assist accounting team with audits, financial reviews, and compliance activities
• Provide general administrative support to internal departments as needed
