Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Up to five years' experience in a related role
• Working knowledge of accounting principles
• Working knowledge using accounting software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Demonstrated ability to collect and compile relevant data
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to evaluate complex information and think systematically
• Strong business analysis skills
• Able to work well independently and as part of a team
• Possess a thorough understanding of the company’s business processes and the industry at large

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
• Sales tax filings
• Unclaimed property processes and filings
• Analyze workflow processes and identify improvements
• Assist with month end close and monthly financials
• Process transactions and perform accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling accounts
