Requirements

  • Have your CPA license
  • Possess 7+ years of current public accounting experience
  • Have experience with accounting and tax software such as CCH Engagement and CCH Axcess, the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe (note we work in a paperless environment)
  • Demonstrate initiative, creativity and imagination in your approach to work
  • Exhibit time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge of client businesses
  • Are a team player, establishing good working relationships with all co-workers
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Demonstrate a commitment to exceptional client service and individual growth

Responsibilities

  • Have direct client contact
  • Work on a variety of clients spanning multiple industries
  • Provide accounting services, including compilations and reviews
  • Provide tax services, including federal, multi-state, and local returns
  • Develop your technical skills in a variety of disciplines, including tax and advisory services
  • Participate in the client business and tax planning process
  • Be responsible for executing and planning client engagements
  • Delegate work to staff and review their work
  • Train and supervise staff
  • Receive ongoing continuing education opportunities aimed at sharpening your technical skills, as well as internal training sessions designed to help you develop a personal network of business contacts, meet with prospective clients, and cultivate referrals
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the firm by providing exceptional client service
