About The Position
We're running a paid study on how financial experts manage complex workflows within standard accounting software. Understanding these daily processes helps us design better tools for handling books, reporting, and reconciliation. The goal of this research is to see firsthand how experienced users navigate and optimize their accounting tasks. During this remote video interview, you will share your screen and walk us through a typical accounting workflow. We will ask you to demonstrate how you navigate the software to accomplish specific financial tasks. You will also discuss the workarounds you use and highlight areas where the interface either helps or hinders your productivity. The conversation will focus heavily on your real-world usage rather than hypothetical scenarios.
Requirements
- Practicing accounting professional, bookkeeper, or CPA
- Power user of QuickBooks with extensive hands-on experience
- Comfortable joining a remote video call and sharing your screen
- Ability to articulate the reasoning behind workflow choices
Responsibilities
- Walk through a typical financial workflow via screen share
