About The Position
National Webbing Products is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Accounting and Operations Coordinator for its Plainview, New York office. The position combines basic accounting responsibilities with customer order processing, logistics, and shipping coordination. The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting functions as well as sales and order fulfillment operations. The company provides training in its accounting and order processing systems and offers the opportunity to develop practical accounting experience, learn wholesale distribution operations, and take on additional responsibilities over time.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.

- Previous accounting, customer service, or order processing experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and enter general ledger journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Analyze general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Help maintain accurate accounting records.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures.
- Prepare accounting reports and supporting schedules as needed.
- Enter customer sales orders into the company's computer system.
- Review orders for accuracy, pricing, and completeness.
- Coordinate with sales personnel regarding customer orders.
- Monitor open orders and assist in resolving order-related issues.
- Maintain accurate customer order records.
- Coordinate customer shipments with outside warehouses and transportation providers.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation.
- Monitor shipment status and follow up on delivery issues.
- Communicate with warehouses regarding order fulfillment and inventory availability.
- Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies and customer inquiries.
