We are seeking an aspiring or experienced Accounting Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Controller. As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee core accounting operations, with direct involvement in Accounts Receivable performance, revenue accuracy, commission processes, and development of key business metrics. This role serves as a critical bridge between daily operations and strategic finance by ensuring timely close processes, strengthening internal controls, improving visibility into financial health, and identifying key drivers that impact revenue, margins, and cash flow. The Finance team is in an evolving and highly collaborative environment, working directly with teams throughout the Shared Services organization (including FP&A, Legal, People Ops, Treasury, Taxes and IT), as well as Field Support Operations teams (including Sales, Fleet, Insurance, Incident Management). This will be a hybrid role at our Gilbert, AZ headquarters required to be in office at least 2 days per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in revenue accounting, commissions, close management, or related controllership functions.
  • Demonstrated experience building and interpreting financial models or metric-based reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting best practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience in Pest Control or other service-based industries.
  • Familiarity with FloQast close management or similar software.
  • Experience enhancing or automating month-end close, revenue accounting, commission, or AR workflows.

  • Adept at identifying, quantifying, and communicating key performance drivers across operational and financial domains.
  • Experienced in building or improving recurring reporting packages, dashboards, and KPI frameworks.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Persuasive, proactive, with a strong presence and impeccable integrity.
