About The Position

Legends Global is seeking an Accounting Manager for State Farm Stadium. This role is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash management, and general ledger activities. The Accounting Manager will monitor and review financial transactions, prepare journal entries, maintain and reconcile accounts, and assist with financial statement preparation for both the Client and Legends Global Corporate. This position also involves managing and developing Finance Department employees, leading recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management activities, and fostering a collaborative team environment. Requirements

  • B.S. in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university.
  • At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in public accounting and/or financial management at a supervisory level or as department head.
  • Extensive knowledge of general and accounting.
  • Excellent math skills; high aptitude for figures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and organizational ability.
  • Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information is required.
  • Effective supervisory skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting software, Excel workbooks and word processing software.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for review of statistical and other financial records and information.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash management, and general ledger activities.
  • Monitor and review financial transactions.
  • Prepare Journal entries and maintain and reconcile accounts.
  • Monitor and reconcile cash account weekly.
  • Prepare and perform or assist with event settlements.
  • Assist with preparation of financial statements for the Client and Legends Global Corporate, and other financial reports.
  • Maintain general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and operating expenses with proper documentation.
  • Verify and check the accuracy of general ledger coding.
  • Direct and participate in data analyses and reporting.
  • Work with auditors in verifying financial information/procedures.
  • Maintain and improve established financial system controls.
  • Analyze and review financial statements with management.
  • Assist with annual budget preparation.
  • Assist with other duties related to venue management as assigned.
  • Manage and develop Finance Department employees in accordance with Legends Global policies and applicable employment laws.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management activities for assigned staff.
  • Delegate responsibilities, monitor workflow, and ensure departmental objectives and deadlines are achieved.
  • Partner with Human Resources to address employee relations matters, performance issues, and disciplinary actions.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and service-oriented team environment.
