About The Position

Stedi is hiring an Accounting Manager to own the monthly close and day-to-day accounting operations as the business scales. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role is responsible for general ledger accuracy, timely financial reporting, and the accounting processes and controls that support them. The Accounting Manager will build on Stedi’s integrated, automated, and AI-oriented accounting foundation. The role will standardize and document workflows, establish clear responsibilities and review procedures, and strengthen controls so processes remain reliable and repeatable as transaction volume and complexity increase. The manager will understand how transactions flow through systems from underlying data to final reporting, evaluate existing systems and workflows, and use modern tools and AI to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of accounting operations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, sound judgment, and a builder’s mindset. They can independently investigate accounting questions, document conclusions, translate them into practical procedures, and drive process improvements while maintaining strong day-to-day execution.
