Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- Thorough understanding of GAAP, including consumer lending topics
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- ERP proficiency and strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- CPA certification
- Has owned the monthly close and audit processes for a company or division
- Financial services or consumer lending accounting background
- Team management experience
- Oracle NetSuite experience
- Technology forward approach to process improvement
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly close and maintain financial records across all GL accounts
- Prepare journal entries and resolve account variances through regular analysis
- Reconcile consumer loan activities, cash, and other accounts
- Handle corporate cash management including wires and ACHs
- Support investor reporting and audit preparations
- Document and improve accounting processes
- Contribute to financial analyses and special projects
