About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role will report to the CFO and is responsible for managing the general ledger, supervising accounting staff and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent analytical and organizational skills. Requirements

Bachelor's or Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of accounting experience required
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting software
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills
Excellent analytical skills to interpret financial data
Effective communication skills
Attention to detail is vital for ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance
Problem-solving skills will help address any challenges that arise in financial management
An adaptable mindset will allow you to navigate an evolving regulatory landscape and implement best practices

Previous supervisory or management experience preferred

Responsibilities

Overseeing daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger
Preparing monthly financial statements
Managing month-end and year-end closing processes
Maintaining compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
Assisting with budgeting, financial analysis, and forecasting
Support annual audits and required financial reporting
Developing and maintaining internal accounting controls and procedures
Supervise and support accounting staff
