The Accounting Manager, Controllership leads accounting for Best Buy Canada’s vendor funding program, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with US GAAP and Best Buy Enterprise policy as it relates to the vendor funding and support programs, which encompasses a range of activity including funding for vendor promotions, purchase discounts, and related adjustments to Best Buy Canada’s inventory balances. This role also leads a diverse team of 4 direct and 4 indirect reports that include accounting professionals, partners with cross-functional stakeholders, and drives process improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and control. We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in-person interactions at our head office located in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.
