Requirements

University degree in Accounting
Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Financial Controller within a corporate environment
Professional CPA designation
Financial analysis and budget management skills, with in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
Leadership skills with experience in team management
Bilingual in French and English, with excellent written and verbal proficiency in English (frequent interactions with stakeholders across Canada)
High level of professionalism, ability to effectively manage priorities, strong organizational skills, and autonomy
Team-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, as well as accounting software; experience with and interest in ERP systems

Responsibilities

Preparing and presenting periodic financial statements and reports (monthly, quarterly, annually) in compliance with accounting standards
Overseeing the full accounting cycle
Managing and mentoring the accounting team
Supporting the final phase of the ERP system implementation
Participating in the annual budgeting process, including budget preparation, review, analysis, and monitoring
Ensuring timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations for multiple entities, supporting cash management and liquidity operations
Acting as a key resource for internal professionals and business partners
Collaborating closely with various stakeholders to drive continuous process improvement
