About The Position

The Bonadio Group is offering Spring and Summer 2027 Accounting Internship opportunities in Dallas, Texas. These internships are designed to provide hands-on experience in public accounting, allowing interns to perform meaningful accounting work, collaborate with experienced professionals, and gain exposure to client engagements. The program aims to help interns develop technical skills, build professional confidence, and contribute to real client work. Interns will work alongside Staff Accountants, Senior Accountants, Managers, Principals, and Partners.

Requirements

Active enrollment in an accredited bachelor’s or master’s in accounting program.
Coursework that supports progress toward the requirements for CPA eligibility.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Passion for client service and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

Prepare individual, small business, and corporate tax returns.
Assist with tax research and planning projects.
Analyze financial information and supporting documentation.
Collaborate with experienced tax professionals on client engagements.
Learn how public accounting professionals deliver exceptional client service.
Gain exposure to the audit process.
Develop technical accounting knowledge.
Build skills that prepare you for a successful career in public accounting.
Work on specialized projects within The Efficiency Center.
Provide support for Form 990 preparation and review.
Participate in Employee Benefit Plan (EBP) engagements.
Engage in Technical Accounting Standards Update (ASU) projects.
Contribute to innovation initiatives focused on improving processes and client service.
Participate in year-end audit engagements alongside experienced Assurance professionals.
