About The Position
The Accounting Intern will rotate through various areas of the accounting department, including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Inventory Management, and Logistics. The specific amount of time allotted for each task will be determined by the intern's available hours, with rotations occurring at least bi-weekly. A workstation will be provided in the assigned work area. This is a part-time paid position.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excel experience
Responsibilities
- Compare receiving documents and supplier invoices and process invoices for payment.
- Reconcile invoices and receivers.
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations for past due invoices.
- Assist with bank and clearing account reconciliations.
- Review and make cost variance corrections for inventory.
- Assist with audits of cycle counts.
- Assist transportation managers with freight booking and analysis.
