About The Position

As an Accounting Intern, you will support our team in maintaining accurate financial records for our clients. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience with real client work while building a strong foundation in accounting practices. You’ll gain exposure to multiple industries, systems, and projects while learning directly from experienced professionals.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel experience preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bookkeeping for multiple clients across different industries.
• Staying organized and detail-oriented in completing assigned tasks.
• Proactively asking questions and seeking feedback to support learning.
• Communicating clearly and professionally with your team.
• Using technology tools to support efficiency and accuracy.
• Demonstrating curiosity and enthusiasm for accounting and client service.
• Hands-on support with bookkeeping activities such as reconciliations, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Exposure to industries such as medical, manufacturing, restaurants, professional services, construction, and more.
• Collaboration with accountants, controllers, and business optimization teams.
• Ongoing mentorship and training, including one-on-one development opportunities.
• Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions.
• Assist with processing invoices, deposits, and bill payments.
• Assist with payroll journal entries.
• Assist with sales tax filings and reporting support.
• Monitor financial documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Follow established processes for maintaining accounting integrity.
• Learn how to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
• Use Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and accounting software in a professional environment.
