About The Position

This internship provides an opportunity to perform various accounting tasks, gain subject matter knowledge, and contribute to improving work processes. The intern will work closely with team members, attend trainings, and maintain a high level of professionalism. Key activities include composing and inputting journal entries, analyzing general ledger accounts, performing balance sheet reconciliations, assisting with month-end financial reporting, accounting research, budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

Performs all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently and in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
Works closely with members of assigned team to develop subject matter knowledge.
Attends company/department/team trainings and meetings as appropriate.
Maintains a high level of professionalism by demonstrating excellent attendance, adhering to company guidelines, meeting objectives thoroughly and on time, etc.
Compose and input journal entries and analyze various general ledger accounts
Perform balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with month-end financial reporting
Assist with accounting research projects
Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial analysis
Contribute to improving current work processes and supporting documentation
