About The Position

This internship provides an opportunity to assist the Accounting Department with a wide range of projects. Under the direction of the Corporate Controller, interns will gain hands-on experience in various accounting functions.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program with a degree in Accounting.
• Requires a high level of confidentiality.
• Must have good mathematical and analytical skills, problem solving ability, and accuracy.
• Good typing skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook & Office products.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Some experience working in an office or administrative setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with AP and/or AR process.
• Assist in updating accounting spreadsheets as needed.
• Assist in accounting projects as needed by members of the department.
• Assist in filing of accounting documents.
• Assist accounting area with closing duties.
• Assist Accounting Assistants with daily duties as needed.
